i wrote this a year or 2 ago, but i still like it

Despite the good
For I am blessed
I thank God
I'm still alive

I do what I'm told
I do it well
So I thank God

I try my hardest
So little recognition
But I thank God
I'm still alive

I empty all of me
Yet still taken for granted
But I thank God
I'm still alive

Mentally, physically drained
Feeling the pain
But I thank God
I'm still alive

Despite the bad
I am blessed
That's why I thank God
I'm still alive
